About SPSU ITE

Southern Polytechnic State University received its charter from ITE on December 11, 1997. Starting with only a couple of members and Dr. Thomas Currins full support in early 1997, we have grown to over 40 plus members in just over three years! SPSUs ITE alumni are now entering the professional workforce and proving that we are among the best engineers available. Other SPSU alumni have already been proving their worth for 50 years! Our faculty and staff in the Civil Engineering Technology Department are making sure that our graduates leave here well prepared for an engineering profession. Demand for our graduates are growing rapidly and we, as an organization, are helping to meet the demand.
